-STORY David lost his wife and has been raising his son Will on his own. He thought he cared for him and took good care of him, but a fight triggered Will to run away from home and move to Japan. It has been 10 years since we had an estranged relationship. David is contacted by Will and visits Japan where Will lives with his family. David's interaction with the Will family living in Shimane and the idea of traditional techniques handed down in Shimane bring about a certain change in David. -CAST Terajima Susumu as Kiyoshi Nagase <Special appearance> Victor Casale as David Bob Werley as Will Patricia as Tamaki Nagase Mayumi Fuji as Natsuko Nagase Tsubaki Hyuga as Haruto Nagase Brendan Stallings as David (Adolescence) Michael Arrant as Will (Childhood) Naho Usami as Naho Usami -Unchanging, it is the feeling of wishing for happiness- What we eat, what we wear, the roads we walk on, and the homes we return to. We believe that these are proof that our ancestors have been striving to make tomorrow easier to live in than today, long ago when there were still few things on earth. We believe that at the root of this is a desire for other people's happiness. We are where we are today because we have tried to make others happy as much as we have been happy. The definition of happiness changes over time and varies from person to person, but what has remained constant is the feeling of imagining and wishing for someone else's happiness. We believe that as long as this feeling remains within people, we will be able to create a better future. We want to connect the feelings of our "ancestors" who made us what we are today to the future. We put that feeling into it.
